Category-01: Eligibility Qualifications

  1. A passing grade in the 10+2 grade exam with mathematics, physics, and one of the following subjects: biology, computer science, electronics, information technology, agriculture, engineering graphics, business studies, or entrepreneurship.
  2. A minimum of 45% overall in three subjects (40% for students who belong to the reserved category).

Category-02: Eligibility Qualifications

A Pass 10+2 level examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% aggregate in three subjects (40% in case of students belonging to reserved category)

Category-03: Programmes Offered

B. Tech. – Biotechnology

B. Tech. – Biomedical

Category-03: Eligibility Qualifications

A passing grade in the 10+2 level exam with Physics and one of the following disciplines (Mathematics, Biology, or Biotechnology), with a minimum of 45% overall in the three subjects (or 40% if the student is a member of a reserved category)

Category-04: Eligibility Qualifications

  1. Pass in the 12th grade or equivalent examination is required with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry should be the subjects studied in the qualifying examination
  2. A minimum average of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry is required
  3. A valid NATA score (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is also required21 B.Des – Design

Category-04: Eligibility Qualifications

  1. The candidate must have passed the 12th grade or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
  2. In the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories, a minimum of 40% marks is required in the qualifying examination.

Special Note on Eligibility

  1. Candidates who have passed in compartmental classes or grades are not eligible for admission.
  2. Candidates who have passed with arrears in either the 10th class or 12th class are also not eligible for admission.
  3. Non-resident Indian (NRI) candidates, diploma holders, and candidates of foreign origin need not appear for the entrance examination.

Deadlines

  1. Application forms will be available from 05 December 2022 (Monday).
  2. The last date for submitting applications is 31 March 2023 (Friday).
  3. The entrance examination is tentatively scheduled for the 1st week of May 2023.

Exam Pattern

Application fee: INR 1200.

Duration: 1 hour

Number of Questions: 60, each question carries one mark and no negative marks for wrong answers
