Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 60%.
- Qualifying Exam should have Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects.
- Minimum of 60% marks in PCM (55% in the case of CBSE and ICSE) is required.
GAT 2023 Exam Highlights
- The test is held online.
- The duration of the test is 2 hours.
- The test consists of three sections, and all questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions).
- Each question has four options, and one correct answer is awarded 2 marks.
- Wrong answers and unanswered questions receive nil marks.
Exam Structure
- Section A: Mathematics/Biology – 40 questions, 80 marks
- Section B: Physics – 20 questions, 40 marks
- Section C: Chemistry – 20 questions, 40 marks
- Section C: Quantitative Aptitude & Analytical Reasoning – 20 questions, 40 marks
- Section D: English – 10 questions, 20 marks
- Total: 100 questions, 200 marks
